Management positions

The Rectorate, Senate, and University Council of the University of Vienna have gender parity, but – with  the exception of the University Council – are headed by men. Institute and department heads have the highest proportion of men in academic leadership positions, while the proportion of women among deans and center directors has risen slightly in recent years. In administrative management positions, the higher the hierarchical level, the higher the proportion of men.
