Academic university staff
In January 2025, the academic university staff was gender-balanced overall. Over the last 10 years, the proportion of women has increased most significantly in tenure track positions and professorships. Three-quarters of the academic staff (more women than men) are in temporary positions. The work hours are influenced more by personnel category than by gender, but the full-time rate is higher for men than for women. The age structure reflects the large number of young scientists.
